About the Norwegian Environmental Protection Association
The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association is a voluntary, democratic environmental protection organization that was founded in 1993, and has its headquarters in Bergen. NMF has active members and community groups all over the country, and we have regional offices in Tromsø, Trondheim and Oslo.
Norges Miljøvernforbund is Norway's most active voluntary organization in environmental protection. NMF works tirelessly with a wide register of environmental matters, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Much of the first time has been spent building up the organisation, where we strongly invest in acquiring modern equipment and creating an apparatus that makes the organization as stable, independent and unassailable as possible. We do this in order to be able to do what we really want: Drive active, effective and ongoing environmental protection work against doubting politicians and established sources of pollution, and not least to be a professional heavyweight in environmental protection and environmental protection advice.
